Israel’s 12-day War Strengthens Unity Among Iranians

ALWAGHT- Iran’s top military commander praised the public for maintaining ‘exceptional unity’ in the face of Israeli-US aggression, resisting Tel Aviv’s calls for demonstrations.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, praised the Iranian nation for its “exceptional unity” during the recent 12-day Israeli aggression, highlighting that citizens ignored calls from Israeli leaders to protest. Speaking at a commemoration for 8,000 martyrs in Gilan Province, he emphasized that this unity reflects a historic pattern, including the 1980s’ sacred defense against Iraq and the broader legacy of the Islamic Revolution.

Sayyari stressed that all enemy tactics—including wars, cultural invasions, and hybrid warfare—aim to defeat Iran, but the nation has consistently resisted, even against overwhelming foreign support for its adversaries. He noted that the Iranian people defended their homeland with minimal resources, ensuring victory in both the eight-year Iraq-Iran war and the recent 12-day conflict.

The 12-day war, triggered by unprovoked Israeli attacks on June 13, also involved US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. In response, Iran targeted strategic sites across Israeli-occupied territories and the US al-Udeid air base in Qatar. By June 24, Iranian retaliatory operations successfully halted the aggression, demonstrating the country’s military resilience and national solidarity.
