ALWAGHT- Israeli attacks in Khan Younis and central Gaza have left 33 Palestinians dead, including 10 children, as the region faces continued aggression and a deepening starvation crisis.
Israeli forces targeted civilians in Gaza, killing nine people, including seven children, in the al-Attar area of Khan Younis while they were collecting water. In central Gaza City, another attack on a three-story residential building in the al-Daraj neighborhood killed 13 people, including three children and two women, with rescue teams still searching for seven children trapped under the rubble. Additional bombardments near an aid distribution point in the Wadi Gaza area resulted in 10 more fatalities and 10 injuries.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that over the past 24 hours, 76 people were killed and 281 injured, bringing the total casualties since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, to 63,633 dead and 160,914 injured. The report highlighted that from March 18, 2025, alone, 11,502 people were killed and 48,900 injured, showing the escalation in recent months.
The Ministry also emphasized the severe impact on civilians receiving aid, reporting 12 killed and 90 injured in attacks targeting food distribution, raising the total “martyrs for a morsel of food” to 2,306 dead and over 16,929 injured. Starvation continues to claim lives, with 13 deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total starvation-related fatalities to 361, including 130 children.
