The Secret Objectives of the Saudi-American Aggression against Yemen

Monday 30 March 2015
The Secret Objectives of the Saudi-American Aggression against Yemen

Alwaght- The Saudi-American aggression on Yemen continues for the third day. Till now, it has led to the death and wound of hundreds of innocent citizens, most of whom are women and children. Moreover, the infrastructure is being completely destroyed in this country which has been economically debilitated as a consequence of the failed policies of the previous administrations for the past ten years, as well as the foreign interference, particularly the US and Saudi Arabia.

There are many hidden reasons for launching the recent aggression on Yemen.

First, this aggression aims to weaken the Yemeni revolution which is being led by Ansarullah Movement, which was able of overthrowing the government of the former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi. The former president is an ally of the Saudi monarchy. He has constantly tried to destabilize the Yemeni revolution through adopting Aden as a base for the terrorist Takfiri groups, particularly Al-Qaeda and ISIS. It was an attempt to separate it from the central administration in Sanaa by playing the sectarian card.

Second, the aggression aims to weaken the resistant forces who are confronting US plans in the region. Since the beginning, the Saudi authorities and the US administration sensed that Ansarullah Movement – who have the hatred of the US and the Zionist regime as a motto – became a powerful force capable of performing an influential role in the favor of the Resistance axis.

Third, the Saudi attack aims to mislead the international opinion from the true events in Iraq, Syria and other regional countries that have been infested with cruel massacres by the terrorist and Takfiri groups. Particularly ISIS, these groups have long been supported by Saudi Arabia financially and military.

Fourth reason involves deviating attention from the conspiracies and plots that are being hatched by the US and their allies in the West, particularly the United Kingdom and France, as well as the regional states, primarily Saudi Arabia. These conspiracies crave to impose the Zion-American Project in the region through supporting the puppet regimes of the Middle East region.

Fifth, the Saudi attack is designed to prevent the Yemeni people and its leadership represented by Ansarullah Movement and other movements from creating a government based on people's elections and referendum. This is what is mostly feared by Riyadh and the other Persian Gulf States, who have built their governments based on familial inheritance which is far from any democratic culprits adopted by the civilized states.

Sixth objective includes preventing the new Yemeni government led by Ansarullah Movement from benefitting from the strategic geographical location of Yemen where it oversees directly on the Gulf of Aden and the Strait of Bab Al-Mandeb, the only southern gateway of the Red Sea – the vital lane and the sensitive marine navigation at the regional and the international levels.

The seventh reason aims to reduce the influence of Iran in the region on the basis that it is the primary support of the Yemeni people and its government led by Ansarullah Movement, particularly after the prominent successes that have been achieved by Tehran in the political aspect. This aspect manifested clearly in the nuclear negotiations with Group 5+1, and the possibility of reaching an agreement regarding the nuclear program conflict. On the other hand, Tehran has perceived success at the military aspect which was clearly reflected through its logistic support of the Iraqi army and the Mass Mobilization Forces, which has also achieved significant victories against ISIS. The most recent success was in Tikrit province, the primary stronghold of ISIS and the other terrorist groups which have occupied major areas in Iraq since nine months ago.

The last of the reasons behind the Saudi aggression against Yemen – supported by all of the Persian Gulf Council Countries and other regional countries except for Oman – is to deviate the attention from the Saudi's internal conflicts. These conflicts are represented by the dispute over power, which has worsened after the death of King Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, and the advent of his half-brother King Salaman to power. The dispute became clearly demonstrated by the numerous changes that have affected the sensitive positions in the state, as well as the internal opposition of AL-Saud regime, particularly in the eastern regions. The policies of the present regime are based on sectarian discrimination, inflexibility and lack of courteousness. The absence of healthy democratic environment does not commensurate with the legitimate hopes of the people, particularly the rights of women in a regime that prohibits them from driving automobiles.

In the end, the excuses given by the Saudi monarchy to wage war on its southern neighbor, killing its people, and destroying its infrastructure with missiles and bombs that Riyadh has bought out of the Muslims' money. It is heading for destroying Yemen instead of helping the poor country which has always tried to stand tall and to get rid of the heavy burden left by the previous successive governments. These governments have silently obeyed the wills of Saudi Arabia in keeping the country in constant collapse economically, socially and security in order to achieve the interests of the Zion-American Project that aims to tear the region apart, plunder its resources, insult the dignity of its people, and tamper with its fate.
