Alwaght- Syrian national army managed to foil another ISIS attack to capture the eastern city of Homs on Friday.
The terrorist group launched the offensive to capture the villages of Huwaysis and Jubb al-Jarrah in Homs Governorate that are under government control now.
A large group of ISIS terrorists initiated the offensive by attacking the Syrian Army's defenses in order to overwhelm them that failed after a short battle.
According to al-Masdar field correspondent in Damascus City, the Syrian Armed Forces foiled the terrorist offensive on Friday, killing and wounding scores of ISIS combatants in the process.
Meanwhile, east of Palmyra, Russian choppers launched several attacks against the ISIS terrorists at the villages of Sukhnah, Taybah, and 'Arak.
In another front Syrian army attacked terrorist and militant groups in some villages near the northern city of Aleppo and managed to liberate them on Friday.
The Manyan village, west of Aleppo was fully liberated after days of fierce fighting with the terrorists, the Syrian official SANA news agency cited a military source as saying.
Aleppo has been divided since 2012 between government forces in the west and militants in the east. Backed by Russian air cover, the Syrian army launched operations to purge the militants from the city in September.
