Alwaght- Israeli regime air force attacked the Syrian Golan Heights hitting positions controlled by the Syrian government.
In a statement published on Sunday, Tel Aviv declared its forces have struck Syrian "cannons" during an airstrike in Syria’s Golan Heights after "mortar fire" hit an unpopulated area.
Israeli regime has targeted the Golan Heights on multiple occasions and it seems the regime is exploiting the current terrorist attacks in Syria to raid the army's positions without international concerns.
Syrian government says Tel Aviv is helping terrorist groups fighting in Syrian soil and the current attacks could be a way to weaken the state's positions standing against terrorist groups like ISIS.
Israel seized the Golan Heights from Syria after the 1967 Six-Day War and later occupied it in a move that has never been recognized by the international community.
The regime has built tens of illegal settlements in the area ever since and has used the region to carry out a number of military operations against the Syrian government
