Syrian Terrorists at Zionist Herzliya Conference

Sunday 19 June 2016
Syrian Terrorists at Zionist Herzliya Conference

Alwaght- A representative of a major Syrian terrorist group attended the Zionist “Herzliya” conference held last Tuesday held inside the Israel entity, thus confirming Tel Aviv’s full support for terrorism in Syria.

Issam Zeitoun, representing the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA), was interviewed by 24 News live from the conference hall. “We are participating in the conference to prove to the whole world that we exist”, he said.

This participation in the Zionist conference by a representative from the Syrian Free Army, comes at a time when Hrtzla Helvey Israeli Mossad chief said in a speech to the conference that Israel does not wish ISIS to be eliminated.

“Israel does not want ISIS to be ruled out in Syria”, he added.

The Israeli regime supports terrorist groups in Syria for several reasons with the most important one being an attempt to break the axis of resistance which backs Palestinians in their liberation struggle.

The former head of the notorious Israeli regime’s spy agency, Mossad, two weeks ago admitted that the regime provides medical aid to al-Qaeda affiliated al-Nusra Front terrorists on the Syrian border.

In an interview with al-Jazeera, Efraim Halevy outrageously said he is not concerned that Israel had treated terrorists of al-Nusra Front in Syria.

Last December, Britain’s Daily Mail exposed a video of Israeli commandos entering Syrian territory to rescue several wounded al-Nusra Front terrorists and retreating to aid the terrorists within Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

The report revealed that the Israeli regime has saved the lives of at least 2,000 terrorists at the cost of $13 million. The Israeli regime has also been assisting the terrorists by conducting airstrikes against Syrian government and Hezbollah positions in Syria.

The foreign-sponsored conflict in Syria, which flared in March 2011, has so far claimed the lives of nearly half a million people, over one million injured and an estimated 12.5 million now displaced.

The Syrian government says terrorists in the country are backed by the US and its regional allies including the Israeli regime, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

It is quite clear that the Israeli regime not only supports the terrorists’ active in Syria militarily but also provides them with medical care in a bid to see the war in the Arab country continue. The Israeli regime needs the conflict in order to be able to carry out another plan, which is the annexation of more lands especially the Golan Heights.

The Israeli regime is collaborating with US imperialist interest in an attempt to destabilize and divide the countries of the region. It joined Saudi Arabia and Turkey in aiding and arming terrorist and reactionary forces particularly the ISIS, al-Nusra Front and FSA terrorist groups to pursue their destructive mission in the West Asia region.

It’s widely recognized that ISIS terrorist group depends on oil sales to fuel its atrocities. Until recently, it’s been less clear who is buying ISIS’s oil, and how it ends up in their hands.

However, recent reports suggest that the oil flows to Europe and Asia through a complex process that implicates allies of the US especially like Turkey and the Israeli regime.

Recent developments suggest that US allies directly benefit from the flow of cheap terrorist oil and, given the United States’ role in the creation of ISIS, this could suggest that the reluctance to target oil facilities of the terrorist group.

Last November, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, a London-based media outlet focusing on the Arabic world, published a detailed investigation tracing ISIS oil from the massive oilfields in Iraq and Syria to refineries in Israel, where it’s ultimately exported to Europe.

A major factor in Israeli regime’s support for terrorists aiming to oust the Syrian government led by President Bashar al Assad is to weaken the axis of resistance in the West Asia region. This axis of resistance starting from Iran, coming to resistance movements in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon continues to stand by Palestinians in their struggle to liberate their lands, including al-Qud (Jerusalem), occupied by the Israeli regime.

Despite Israeli regime’s support for Takfiri terrorists groups in the West Asia region, the axis of resistance stands firm and is making progress in the war on terrorists groups inside Iraq and Syria.
