Alwaght- A Turkish army center for recruiting forces was attacked by Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militants on Saturday.
Two PKK militants targeted the army center in the Kagizman district of Kars province with rocket launchers at around 1.20 a.m. local time, state-run Anadolu news agency claimed, adding that the attackers had also opened fire at the center following the rocket attack.
"The rocket missed the office building and landed nearby, the source said. No casualties were reported," the Turkish news agency reported.
The region has seen intense security operations since conflict between the state and PKK re-ignited in July 2015.
Hundreds of police and soldiers and thousands of PKK fighters have since been killed, according to official figures. Opposition parties say more than 500 civilians have also been killed.
The PKK has been fighting for an autonomous Kurdish region in southeastern Turkey since 1980s. The conflict has left tens of thousands of people dead.
