Alwaght- As the first speaker of a congress entitled World Congress of Extremist and Takfiri Movements, Grand Shia cleric 'Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi' stated, "The Takfiri groups must be recognized and eradicated". He then stated: "We must recognize Takfiris and make efforts in order to root them out and stop watching the great genocide and bloodshed of Muslims". According to ABNA, Makarem said that "Separate the Deceived Youth from Takfiris . ISIS terrorist group is neither a 'State' nor 'Islamic '.
According to the congress report, at the opening ceremony of the congress which was held at Imam Kazim complex, Ayatollah Makarem said, "It is the our duty of to study the thoughts of the misled Takfiris ."
He further stated: "It is our responsibility to prove the world that Takfiris are far away from Islam. We have to separate the mislead youth who have been attracted by these groups ."
He also added: "There's a need of Military actions against these misled groups but that’s not enough. Their way of thoughts must be eliminated by Muslim scholars."
