2 Killed and 14 Wounded in Tripoli

Alwaght-Due to the severe clashes among terrorist militiamen in Tripoli, two were killed and fourteen including six Lebanese soldiers and three citizens were seriously wounded in Tripoli, a city in north of Lebanon.

Abu-Ali in Tripoli and regions such as Bab al-Hadid and al-Zahriyeh have been focus of clashes. From the last year on, along with intensifying crisis in Syria, Tripoli has been a place for those who support anti-Damascus government terrorists.  Indeed, this city has turned to a battlefield in which Lebanon army and pro-Syrian government forces fight terrorists and their supporters.

Terrorists in this region try best to use the city as their own logistic base to fight and hit the Syrian government. Since, Lebanon army wants to hinder this terrorist operation, it is acting against those terrorists who are coming from Syria into Lebanon and those who are assisting them from Lebanon soil.
