6-Year-Old Girl and Woman Killed by Israeli Strikes in Lebanon

Alwaght- A six-year-old girl and a woman were killed by an Israeli airstrike in south Lebanon on Wednesday.

The woman and girl were killed in the strike near Majdal Zoun, a village some 6 km from the border, according to two security sources and a medical source.

The father of the six-year-old girl killed said she had asked to visit her village, which they had fled from after the eruption of clashes last year, in comments broadcast by al-Akhbar newspaper.

In reaction, Hezbollah said it will respond to the crime against the civilians.

On Tuesday, Hezbollah said it will escalate the battle against the Israeli regime in the coming days, a week after an Israeli air raid killed civilians in Nabatiyeh neighborhood.

Hezbollah announced more than half a dozen attacks on Israeli positions on Wednesday.

According to Al-Manar news network of Lebanon, the resistance movement launched a about 10 attacks on Israeli positions, inflicting damages on the Israeli forces and military installations.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned last week against full-scale war, saying that Israeli regime should expect 2 millions of displaced Israelis should it begin war on Lebanon.
