Alwaght- Saudi Arabian war planes are violating the ongoing truce in Yemen by bombing public facilities and killing civilians in the impoverished country while putting UN-backed peace talks in jeopardy.
Reports say Saudi regime jets on Wednesday brazenly violated the truce that started on Monday by targeting the Yemeni provinces, killing four civilians and destroying public facilities.
The Saudi warplanes destroyed the Yemeni oil firm in al-Zammar, killing four civilians.
Yemen’s Saba news agency quoted Brigadier-General Sharaf Luqman, a spokesman for Yemeni Armed Forces as saying that a "serious escalation by land, sea and air is taking place by the alliance in various areas.”
Luqman said strikes from the sea were being launched on the Red Sea port city of Hodeida, ground forces were carrying out attacks on Taiz, and air strikes by the Arab coalition had not stopped.
"We will not stay hand-tied but we will respond strongly towards the breaches that are taking place by the alliance and their mercenaries," Luqman said.
Elsewhere the Yemeni army and public committees also managed to repel many advance attempts carried out by the Saudi-led terrorists.
Politically, the UN-sponsored Yemeni talks in Switzerland continued on Wednesday as media reports noted that there has not been noted any progress due to the continual Saudi aggression despite the truce.
The truce was intended to last for seven days and coincide with the peace talks to try to end a nine month Saudi-led aggression on Yemen.
