Alwaght- Iraqi media reported an attack on the US logistics convoy in the early hours of the Sunday.
Saberin News Telegram channel reported that the attack targeted a number of the US army trucks in Samawah city, 280 kilometers southeast of the capital Baghdad.
The attack, reported the channel, was carried out by roadside bombs.
Shortly later, the channel reported a second similar attack.
The attacks on the American forces have been on the rise since earlier this year as the deadline for US exit ended on December 30.
Iraqi groups have been warning that more attacks are coming, unless Washington decides to pull out of Iraq.
In January 2020, Iraqi parliament approved a bill of expulsion of foreign forces, following assassination of two anti-terror commanders, Iran's General Qassem Soleimani and Iraq's Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, at Baghdad International Airport by a direct order from Donald Trump.
