ALWAGHT- Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei shared a rock relief of Shapur the Great's victory over a Roman emperor, stating that Iranians have broken the illusion of invasion.
In a series of social media posts, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf pushed back against the notion of foreign invasion. Baghaei shared an image of the ancient Sasanian rock relief of Shapur I defeating a Roman emperor, arguing that Iranians have historically shattered Rome’s illusion of being the world's unrivaled center. Meanwhile, Ghalibaf warned that any aggressor—specifically the US under a Trump administration—would be drawn into an endless, unwinnable war, with ordinary Americans footing the bill for warmongering oligarchs and Washington’s war lobby.
