Russian, Syrian Airstrikes Tighten Noose on Terrorists

Alwaght- Units of the army and the armed forces, backed by the Syrian and Russian air forces, on Monday launched wide-scale military operations against the terrorist organizations across the country, killing scores of their members and destroying their equipment and vehicles.
According to the Syrian news agency, SANA the Syrian air force carried out air strikes against the ISIS terrorist group in Aleppo, killing many terrorists and destroying their vehicles in  several areas in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said the Russian air force carried out 15 raids against 10 ISIS targets in Aleppo countryside, adding that ISIS training and command centers were destroyed in the process.
In Idleb province Syrian  Air Force targeted hotbeds and movements of terrorists from al-Nusra  Front and other terrorist organizations in Jisr al-Shugour city.
A military source told SANA on Monday that the airstrikes resulted in killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles with all arms and ammunition onboard.
Still in Idleb the Russian and Syria jetfighters  carried out joint airstrikes destroying a terrorists’ artillery base, ammunition depot and 30 vehicles including armored ones in al-Ghabat area.
Elsewhere in the eastern countryside of Hama province, a number of terrorists were killed and injured and their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed in airstrikes by the Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force on their hideouts and gatherings in Khatmalo village.
Meanwhile military source told SANA that Russian and Syrian warplanes conducted a series of precise air strikes against a number of ISIS terrorist group targets resulting in the destruction of a weapon’s warehouse and a communication center in Talbiseh at the countryside of Homs province.
In the coastal Lattakia province Russian and Syrian forces conducted airstrikes destroyed a command headquarters belonging to the terrorists on Beit Manifa. A similar operation was carried out against dens of the terrorist organizations in the villages of al-Durra and al-Rihanyia in the northern countryside of Lattakia province, destroying a number of terrorists’ cars and vehicles and killing all terrorists onboard.
Army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in a number of areas on the western side of Douma in the eastern al-Ghouta, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Following the intensification of Russian airstrikes, reports say an estimated 3,000 terrorists from ISIS, al Nusra Front and other terrorist groups have fled Syria. Many reportedly have entered Jordan.
Russia launched a massive airstrike in Syria on 30 September with more than 50 fighters jets including the Su-24M, the Su-25 and the Su-34 bombing rebel targets.
