ALWAGHT- Iran’s Army chief said Friday that the adversary’s military campaign had fallen short of all its strategic and tactical aims, despite the deployment of significant military resources.
Major General Amir Hatami said an aggressor can only claim victory by achieving its objectives, arguing that Iran’s defense forces prevailed by preventing the enemy from reaching its goals.
He said attempts to destroy Iran’s missile and drone capabilities failed, with Iranian forces continuing to launch missiles and drones until the end of the conflict. Hatami also said Iran’s air defenses damaged several enemy aircraft and strategic assets.
Hatami dismissed claims that Iran’s armed forces had been destroyed, praising their resilience, initiative and courage. He also highlighted growing national unity and cooperation among Iran’s government institutions and security forces.
