Alwaght- Hezbollah fighters and Syrian military forces have liberated the Nabou' neighborhood, north of Zabadani city in the western countryside of Damascus.
The Thursday achievement followed heavy clashes between the Islamic Resistance and the Syrian military on one side and the terrorist groups on the other side, leaving several takfiri operatives killed and wounded.
Meanwhile on Friday Hezbollah military units used a guided missile to destroy a military vehicle of the terrorist group operating in the Syrian Zabadani. During the succesful operation near the Municipality Street, all terrorists in the vehicle were killed amid heavy clashes between both sides on the eastern front of the city.
Elsewhere, the Syrian army fired artillery shells at the terrorists' assembly and deployment points in the town of Madaya, south of Zabadani.
Zabadani is located 45km northwest of Damascus, and it is 8km far from the Lebanese-Syrian border. It directly overlooks Beirut-Damascus highway that links the countries, and lies as a center point between the capital and Homs along with the coastal area.
Hezbollah resistance fighters and the Syrian army have an ongoing military operation in the city with the aim of ejecting terrorist groups out of the area.
Zabadani is considered as the last stronghold of the terrorists along the border with Lebanon.
Analysts say the military operation in Zabadani eliminates the threat posed by terrorists in the area, by cutting off their supply routes starting from Zabadani towards Arsal barrens.
