Press TV cited A security source, speaking to Arabic-language al-Sumaria satellite television network on Friday, as saying the terrorists were killed after Iraqi fighter jets carried out precision strikes against ISIS positions in the town of al-Shirqat, about 250 kilometers north of the capital, Baghdad.
The source, who was speaking on condition of anonymity, added that six ISIS's warehouses were destroyed in the air raids.
Iraqi police troopers have also killed 29 ISIS terrorists in attack on the terror group in the city of Husaybah, seven kilometers east of Anbar’s provincial capital city of Ramadi, Commander of the Federal Police Forces Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat said, adding that the security personnel also managed to destroy a large amount of munitions and equipment, including rocket launchers and heavy machine guns, following the fierce firefights.
Meanwhile, the Kurdistan Democratic Party spokesman in Mosul, Saeed Mamouzini, has announced the death of four ISIS terrorists, who were killed during fierce infighting over the distribution of property stolen during attacks in the ISIS-held city.
Additionally, Iraqi troops backed by Popular Mobilization Units forces have recaptured ISIS-held al-Mal’ab region, situated in the Anbar province, killing ten terrorists.
