Iraqi Forces Kill 60 ISIS Terrorists in Al-Anbar

Iraqi Forces Kill 60 ISIS Terrorists in Al-Anbar
Alwaght-  Iraqi forces have killed almost 60 ISIS  terrorists, including two of their  commanders in separate operations in the country’s war-torn western province of al-Anbar.
According to the Arabic-language al-Forat news agency, the ISIS extremists were killed when Iraqi aircraft carried out precision strikes against terrorist hideouts in the city of Husaybah, which lies seven kilometers (4.5 miles) east of Anbar’s provincial capital city of Ramadi, as well as al-Malahmeh and Albu Alwan regions on Thursday.
The report added that 58 ISIS terrorists also sustained injuries in the aerial attacks.
Iraqi military aircraft also destroyed nine arms depots, 22 armored vehicles and 14 cars belonging to ISIS terrorists during the assaults.
On Wednesday, Iraqi jets bombarded ISIS hideouts in provinces of Anbar and Salahuddin, killing a large number of the terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
Meanwhile on Thursday, Federal police captain Raed Shakir Jawdat announced the killing of a federal police member, after he had killed seven elements belonging to ISIS east of the city of Ramadi.
Jawdat said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com: “one of the heroes of the Federal police managed to infiltrate behind enemy lines in Husaybah al-Sharqiya area (7 km east of Ramadi), and clashed with grenades, killing seven members of the terrorist organization”.
Jawdat added that “the police officer was killed by a sniper during the confrontations after the enemy had suffered heavy casualties.”
The ISIS terrorists currently control swathes of territory across Syria and Iraq. They have committed terrible atrocities in both countries, including mass executions and beheading of local residents as well as foreign nationals.
Since August 2014, the US and some of its allies have been conducting airstrikes against what they claim are ISIS positions in Iraq but they have been unable to deal any significant blow on the terrorists.
This is while many of the countries joining the so-called anti-ISIS coalition, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar, have been the staunch supporters of the Takfiri elements.
