US Shifting to a Ground Plot as Naval Coalition Failed against Yemen’s Ansarullah

US Early Loss in the Red Sea: What’s behind US Aircraft Carrier’s Withdrawal?

Alwaght- Though the US formed a naval coalition in December to force-stop attacks launched by Yemen's Ansarullah Movement in the Red Sea against the Israeli ships in solidarity with Gaza, just contrary to the predictions, not only the US-led operations did not reopen the Israeli maritime arteries, but also the American and British warships themselves became a target, something having captivated the world attention to Sana'a as an emerging naval power.

In this regard, Yemenis in recent weeks unveiled their new military achievement, confirming their fast-growing military power and sending shivers down the spine of the Israelis and Americans.

On Sunday, the Yemeni navy unveiled unmanned boat named "storm of destruction." This remotely-guided boat is developed locally and enjoys a massive destruction power carrying payload of between 1,000 to 1,500 kg.

The boat is equipped with advanced technology with manual guidance. The speed of this vessel is 45 nautical miles per hour and operates in all sea conditions. Ansarullah's military media outlet published footage of operation of this boat targeting Transworld Navigator ship that violated the anti-Israeli ban last week.

This drone boat is a special step in Yemen's weapons, showcasing the high capabilities of the navy in developing advanced arms.

The unveiling of Yemen's new weapons is a warning to the American and Israeli authorities that if the Gaza crisis continues and the war expands towards Lebanon, Ansarullah is ready to give tougher and more crushing responses to the enemies in support of its allies in the Axis of Resistance. The leaders of Sana'a have repeatedly warned that they will not stop their operations in the Red Sea as long as the war in Gaza continues.

Ansarullah's new surprise, which will not end at this stage, has come at a time the Washington officials claimed that they destroyed many of Yemen's military infrastructures, but it seems that the Yemenis have many options up their sleeves, which they will unveil when the need arises.

Ansarullah's military power jump

Despite a decade-long embargo by the Saudi-UAE alliance, Ansarullah has been able to strengthen its military power and develop its strategic military capabilities, from ballistic and cruise missiles to various types of attack drones.

Since the start of the Gaza war, the Yemeni armed forces have unveiled new weapons, including the Khatif 2, Qasif 2K, and Raqib drones, in addition to many long-range missiles, including Meraj and Barq 1.

Ansarullah forces also unveiled for the first time the solid fuel Sejil cruise missile, Barq 2, Fater 1, Sadr 1 and Saqil 2 drones, and the Wide 1 kamikaze.

Regarding naval weapons, Ansarullah unveiled a new missile called Sayyad (Hunter), which is a cruise missile that operates on solid and liquid fuel and cannot be detected by radars. Sana'a navy also produced Saqib, Karar and Mujahid sea mines and advanced sea missiles domestically for the first time.

Ansarullah's important surprise was the supersonic missile that was tested a few months ago, and the leaders of Sana'a warned that from now on, they will target Israeli ships in the Indian Ocean and South Africa in addition to the Red Sea using the new missile and other weapons.

The National Interest magazine in a report admitting the missile capability of the Yemeni armed forces to attack American ships wrote that "Ansarullah proved that they can repel the entire American navy with the missiles they have."

It has now been certain that the American-led maritime coalition has not only failed to restore shipping security to the Red Sea, but also with its warmongering against Yemen, it has ignited the fire of war in the region and now many shipping companies do not sail through this sea way.

Pentagon officials have recently admitted that Ansarullah's attacks on American ships in the Red Sea have become the biggest threat and challenge to the country's interests since World War II.

Now the deterrence power and hegemony of the US in the region and the world has weakened and the Arab rulers who once entrusted their security to this country will undoubtedly reconsider their security policies. These countries creeped towards China and Russia in the last two years which means distancing from Washington and scaling down military dependence on this declining power.

Ansarullah currently has advanced weapons and equipment that can cause heavy damage in the event of American threats, and the Yemeni military officials stress that what they have unveiled so far is only a part of the country's diverse weapons arsenal, which can be used to deter enemy’s threats should the need arise.

Since the maritime trade of the Israeli regime is highly dependent on the Red Sea, after Yemeni armed forces acted on their threats, the Israelis grew concerned about the economic consequences of the ban and military operations on them.

The sea blockade by Ansarullah has dealt a heavy blow to the economy of the Israeli regime, and Golber Gideon, the Eilat port CEO, said following the threats of the Yemenis and the obstruction of the passage of ships sailing to and from Israel, the port of Eilat was paralyzed commercially and ships cannot enter it."

Bab-el-Mandeb is one of the most strategic waterways in the world. After straits of Hormuz and Malacca, Bab-el-Mandeb is the largest and most pivotal transit routes for oil, through which more than 6 million barrels of oil and about 4 percent of the world's total oil flow pass every day. Beside oil, 30 percent of the world's natural gas shipments pass through this route.

Data confirm that Sana'a has the upper hand in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea, and the equations that exist today can be developed in the future and will be a prelude to the end of American hegemony in the region as it shows ultimate inability to protect the existence of Israel.

Experts believe that the unprecedented operations of the Yemeni army in addition to foiling the American-British struggle to break the anti-Israeli blockade revealed the military might of Yemen from which is US was unaware.

Experts suggest that Ansarullah intends to use the current situation to portrait its anti-Israel positions and differentiate itself from some Arab countries that have openly or implicitly normalized their relations with Israel.

While the public sentiments in the Arab world reek with the opposition to Israel and its barbarism against the Palestinians, Ansarullah's actions in the Red Sea are praised as a strong response to Israeli genocide in Gaza by the Arab public who are discontented with their rulers' compromising stances. Additionally, Ansarullah can sieze this opportunity to demonstrate its influential and powerful power in Yemen as an actor capable of challenging big powers.
