Araghchi, Omani FM Discuss Regional Issues, Ties, And Iran’s Nuclear File

ALWAGHT- During a visit to Muscat on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi to discuss Gaza, Israeli attacks, and Iran’s nuclear file.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi in Muscat on Sunday, where the two discussed the state of bilateral relations and explored ways to strengthen cooperation, particularly in economic and trade sectors. Both sides emphasized expanding ties across all areas of mutual interest.

The talks also focused on key regional developments, including the continued Israeli assault on Gaza and broader tensions involving Lebanon and other countries in the region. Araghchi briefed his Omani counterpart on the latest progress related to Iran’s nuclear issue and expressed appreciation for Oman’s diplomatic efforts and mediation initiatives.

Araghchi arrived in Muscat at the head of a delegation to attend the Annual General Meeting taking place on Monday. He is expected to further outline Iran’s positions on regional affairs and bilateral relations during discussions with Omani officials and in his address at the event.
