ALWAGHT- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, strongly condemned US President Donald Trump’s recent boast about bombing Iran’s nuclear sites, stating that the American leader has no right to dictate the actions of other nations.
Ayatollah Khamenei mocked US President Donald Trump’s claim of destroying Iran’s nuclear program, questioning his authority to dictate the nuclear capabilities of other countries. Speaking to Iranian athletes and young scientific achievers, he praised the nation’s youth as “symbols of national power and growth” and emphasized their ability to achieve great feats despite foreign pressure.
Ayatollah Khamenei criticized Trump’s rhetoric as baseless and intended to embolden Zionists while presenting a false image of power. He highlighted that if Trump were truly powerful, he would address widespread domestic dissent in the US. The Leader celebrated the accomplishments of Iranian youth, noting their victories counter psychological warfare aimed at creating hopelessness in the nation.
The Leader recalled Iran’s historical military resilience, including victories during the 1980s war with Iraq, and lauded Iran’s missile capabilities, which were developed indigenously by the nation’s youth. He stressed that Iranian missiles remain ready and warned that they could be used again if necessary. He also condemned US support for Israel, describing America as complicit in crimes in Gaza and labeling its role in creating and sustaining terrorist groups as evidence of its true nature.
Ayatollah Khamenei denounced the massive civilian casualties in Gaza and the recent Israeli-US aggression against Iran as proof of US and Zionist terrorism. He rejected Trump’s characterization of himself as a dealmaker, framing it instead as coercion and bullying, and insisted that West Asia belongs to its own people, criticizing the US for its military presence and interventions in the region.
