“Iran’s Missile Arsenal Untouched After 12-day War,” says Top Commander

ALWAGHT- A top Iranian commander declared that the nation’s missile and defense systems emerged completely unscathed from the 12-day war, saying “not even a scratch as small as a fly’s feather” was made on Iran’s missiles.

Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, deputy coordinator of the IRGC, stated in an interview that Iran’s missile and defense infrastructure remained completely intact after the 12-day US-Israeli war. He emphasized that “not even a scratch the size of a fly’s feather” was made on the country’s missiles or its underground “missile cities,” noting that launch operations quickly resumed after the attacks. The war, which began with Israel’s unprovoked assault on June 13 and included US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, killed over 1,000 Iranians before ending through Iran’s retaliatory operations on June 24.

Naqdi dismissed Israeli claims of having destroyed half of Iran’s missile launchers, asserting that they failed to damage even 3 percent. He highlighted the indigenous nature of Iran’s military technology, which he said is simple to produce yet powerful enough to replenish and expand rapidly. According to him, Iran now possesses more launchers than before the war and has the capacity to manufacture tens of thousands more if needed.

The general also revealed that the confrontation extended beyond Israel, involving NATO countries including the US, UK, France, and Jordan. He accused Western powers of supporting Israel with intelligence and surveillance through regional bases, satellites, and daily drone patrols over the Persian Gulf. Despite this, Iran’s defenses successfully downed over 140 hostile drones, including 43 advanced Israeli ones.

Naqdi concluded that Iran’s domestically developed air defense systems outperformed imported models like the S-300, proving the effectiveness of local technology. He stressed that Iran never sought a ceasefire and faced no operational issues during the war, with field commanders reporting strong morale and sustained readiness. “The forces were standing firm,” he said, adding that the conflict demonstrated Iran’s ability to resist and overcome even the most advanced adversaries through self-reliance.
