President Reiterates Iran’s Commitment to Global Economic Collaboration

ALWAGHT- President Masoud Pezeshkian underscored his government’s determination to strengthen international economic ties, with a specific focus on fostering trade and collaboration with neighboring nations.

During a meeting with members of the Iran Entrepreneurs Forum in Tehran on Tuesday, President Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen economic and trade ties with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as well as regional partners including Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Turkey.

He emphasized that new mechanisms have been introduced to facilitate these interactions, allowing traders and business leaders to fully leverage emerging opportunities. Pezeshkian also reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the challenges faced by producers and business operators, pledging to honor his promises and work diligently to remove obstacles confronting the country’s economic community.

The Iran Entrepreneurs Forum, which gathers representatives of leading enterprises, has established ten specialized working groups focused on areas such as foreign currency, banking, trade, taxation, investment, logistics, transportation, social security, and customs to identify and resolve critical economic issues.
