Hezbollah’s Sheikh Qassem Pays Tribute to Martyred Yemeni Commander al-Ghamari

ALWAGHT- Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem expressed condolences to Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, mourning the death of Yemeni commander Major General Mohammed al-Ghamari, who was killed in an Israeli strike.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem sent condolences to Ansarullah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi following the assassination of Yemeni Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Major General Mohammed al-Ghamari, in what he described as a “cowardly Zionist attack.” In his message, Qassem honored al-Ghamari’s sacrifice and extended sympathy to the Yemeni leadership, armed forces, and people, praying for God’s mercy on the fallen commander.

Praising al-Ghamari’s legacy, Qassem highlighted his bravery in leading the Yemeni Armed Forces, supporting Gaza, confronting US-Zionist forces, and striking fear into Israel. He described the martyrdom as a source of pride for the entire Ummah, noting that the blood of martyrs across Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran is united with that of Palestinians in the struggle against tyranny.

Sheikh Qassem also congratulated Major General Yusuf Hassan al-Madani on his appointment as the new Chief of Staff, expressing confidence that he would continue al-Ghamari’s path. The Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed al-Ghamari’s death, along with his companions and his 13-year-old son, emphasizing that he was martyred while carrying out his duty in support of Palestine, and praised him as a steadfast leader guided by faith, knowledge, and experience.
