ALWAGHT- Following the breakdown of the ceasefire in March, 12,823 Palestinians have been killed and 54,944 others wounded by Israeli forces.
Over the past 24 hours, 37 Palestinians have been killed and 175 injured in Gaza as Israeli attacks continue, with bodies still trapped beneath rubble and many victims unreachable due to the destruction of infrastructure. The Ministry of Health confirmed the rising toll, which has reached 65,419 dead and 167,160 injured since October 7, 2023. Since the collapse of the March ceasefire alone, 12,823 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 55,000 more wounded.
The Health Ministry stressed that the majority of victims are women and children, as homes, tents, vehicles, and aid distribution sites remain primary targets. In the past day, five people were killed and 20 injured near humanitarian aid centers, raising the total deaths in such attacks to 2,531 and injuries to over 18,500. Reports from correspondents indicate that since this morning alone, 42 people have been killed, most of them in Gaza City, with others struck while waiting for aid in Rafah.
Gaza City, under weeks of devastating assault, remains the focus of Israel’s offensive. Despite the ongoing bombardment and forced displacement, more than 900,000 residents continue to endure in the city, while an additional 335,000 have been driven south. The humanitarian crisis deepens as relentless strikes, civilian massacres, and aid blockades leave Gaza in critical conditions.
