ALWAGHT- Since dawn, Israeli forces have killed 40 Palestinians in Gaza, including 10 at Nuseirat refugee camp and 15 in Gaza City.
The Health Ministry reported that 379 people were wounded in Israeli attacks across Gaza over the past 24 hours, with the death toll also rising due to starvation. Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed the death of an infant from malnutrition and lack of medical care, reflecting a broader crisis in which dozens of children have died this year amid restricted food and aid access. Gaza has been experiencing a phase 5 famine, where severe food shortages are causing extreme malnutrition and death.
Recent Israeli airstrikes killed 10 displaced people, including children and women, at the Nuseirat refugee camp, and ongoing bombardment has prevented first responders from reaching victims in areas like Al-Nassr neighborhood and Gaza City. A 6-year-old girl and three other children were also killed or injured while fleeing the conflict zones. Hospitals like al-Shifa are struggling to treat hundreds of patients amid intensifying military operations and restricted access.
Across Gaza, Israeli strikes continue to destroy infrastructure, homes, and neighborhoods, complicating rescue efforts and medical care. Since October 7, 2023, at least 66,005 people have been killed and 168,162 wounded, with thousands still trapped under rubble. Authorities warn that by the end of the year, 132,000 children will suffer from acute malnutrition, including over 41,000 in severe, life-threatening conditions.
