Israeli Regime’s State Sponsored International Terrorism

Thursday 22 December 2016
Israeli Regime’s State Sponsored International Terrorism

Alwaght-The Israeli regime, world's foremost state sponsor of terrorism, has been implicated in the assassination of a Tunisian scientist.

In the latest incident of state terrorism, last Thursday, Israeli regime notorious spy and terror agency, Mossad, assassinated engineer Mohammed al-Zoari in Tunisia. In a statement released on Saturday, the Ezzedeen al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, released a statement declaring that the Tunisian 49-year old engineer martyred by Mossad had been a member in its ranks for ten years, working on developing its drone program.

The Ezzedeen al-Qassam Brigades vowed his blood would not have been spilled in vain, adding that he was one of the leaders who supervised Ababil drones, which had an important role in countering the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

This assassination came after far-right Zionist politician Avigdor Lieberman, who is the Israeli regime's war minister statements calling for the assassination of Palestinian leaders.  In April this year, a belligerent Liberman was quoted as saying, “We must be clearer… we have to inform Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Marwan Issa and Ismail Haniyeh to start preparing their coffins."

The latest assassination of the top Tunisian Hamas engineer comes after a six-year hiatus of assassinations. Mossad terror agency is widely believed to have been behind the assassination of Hamas operative Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai in 2010.

As Hamas has stated, this monstrous crime by the Israeli regime will not go unanswered and therefore the Tel Aviv should brace for vengeance from Ezzedeen al-Qassam Brigades. Palestinian resistance reserves the right to revenge and target the Israeli regime outside the occupied territories at any location and the world and at a time it chooses.

Such a move by Hamas would boost the movement's status in the regional power balance and tilt it favor of the resistance.

Israeli Regime Scared of Hamas Drones

The assassination of the celebrated Hamas drone engineer Mohammed al-Zoari is a pointer to the fact that Israel is scared and deeply worried about the increasing power of advanced drones produced by Hamas.

In December 2014, Hamas showcased for the first time to the public the powerful Ababil drone at a military parade held mark its 27th anniversary in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas not only possesses technology and knowledge to produce drones, but has also acquired the capability to bring down or capture enemy drones.

In September 2015, Hamas announced that it had captured a drone belonging to the Israeli regime in the north of the besieged Gaza Strip. Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, seized the aircraft in an area on the outskirts of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.  In July the same year, Hamas announced that another drone came down in northern Gaza, adding that the movement’s fighters managed to rebuild the unmanned aerial vehicle or Drone.

Hamas Destroyed Israeli Deterrence Power

During the three brutal Israeli wars on Gaza in 2008–09, 2012 and 2014, Palestinian resistance attained major achievements despite the loss of lives and destruction by the enemy. During the three wars, Israeli regime's deterrence was destroyed. Palestinian resistance groups are now able to resolutely respond to Israeli regime's military provocations. Hamas and Islamic Jihad’s offensive military power surprised the Israelis. The Israeli regime has also been astonished by the upgraded rocket and drone capabilities of Palestinian resistance movements.

Hamas now has in procession drones which can carry four AGMs (Air-to-Ground Missiles) and this greatly increases its capability to carry out offensive attacks on Zionists. Certainly, Hamas has only displayed part of military capabilities with much more on its secret arsenal which would surprise and inflict massive blows on the Israeli regime.
