Alwaght-Two members of the ISIS Takfiri terrorist group cell have confessed on their plot to conduct terrorist attacks in several parts of Iran including the capital, Tehran.
The sensational confessions released by Iran’s Intelligence Ministry were aired on Monday night by the country’s state broadcaster IRIB.
Aired under the title, “Depth of Failure”, the 15-minute video shows confession of the ISIS Takfiri terrorists following their arrest by Iranian security forces. The terrorist explained in detail how they had obtained their bomb-making devices and materials.
One ISIS terrorist claims in this documentary to have received €600,000 in cash for the operation to plant bombs in Iran and especially in crowded areas of Tehran. He also says that they used to hold some of their meetings in front of Daneshju Park in central Tehran.
The video for the first time featured footage secretly shot by Iran’s Intelligence Ministry of the terrorists’ movements, vehicles and explosives.
It also showed the footage of the raid by the Iranian security forces on the terrorists’ hideout that led to the Takfiris’ arrest.
On June 19, Iran Ministry of Intelligence issued a statement saying" In a criminal plan by a terrorist Takfiri group, series of bombing attacks has been planned in multiple points in the country's depth for upcoming occasion (of holy month of Ramadan)".
Iranian Intelligence Minister added that the terrorists had planned "remote control bombings, suicide attacks, and car bombings" in several busy locations across the country.
Iranian security forces have also identified 50 bombing locations, confiscated over 100 kilograms of explosives, and stopped the delivery of at least two tons of explosive materials to the terrorists in the country, top security official elaborated
Speaking around the same time, Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, the commander of the Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said terrorists arrested in Iran over the recent past have admitted to obtaining support from the United States and Saudi Arabia.
