Alwaght- The World Congress on Extremist and Takfiri Movements in the Islamic Scholars’ View began in the Iranian holy city of Qom on Sunday and finished its work on Monday, Press TV reported More than 600 Muslim scholars from over 80 countries attended the two-day event. According to reports, 40 percent of the participants were Shiite and 60 percent Sunni .
This congress was held in four specialized Panels aiming at investigating the genealogy of Takfiri movements as well as ways to counter the threat of Takfiri ideology and extremism .
One of the invited Islamic scholars to this congress is Imam Abdul Alim Musa, the charismatic and outspoken Imam and founder of Masjid al-Islam in Washington DC. He is facing harassment and death threats virtually on a daily basis. Not only has Masjid al-Islam properties in various cities been vandalized and broken into but his family members have also been shot and killed.The Al-Waght reporter has run a short interview with him as follows:
Q: What are the solutions to fight against Takfiri and Extremism Movements?
I talked to many people. Now we are facing global war, Haq in one side and Batel in other, (the Right and Wrong front). The Extremists are Batle. The Extremists are well-funded. The Zionist, Saudi Arabia and Qatar and others sponsor these groups. In the war they have states that sponsore Batel. And we need states that sponsore the Haq side,that means state like Iran, because we remember all of our enemies are well-funded. For example, Vahabisim whatever you call, they have lots of money they don't have to worry about anything. They have accesses to all facilities but we don't. So we need help in order to fight them. We need global coordination to fight.
Q: What do you think about the future of Takfiri Movements?
It's passing phenomenon, like Taliban
Q; what do you think about the future of those countries who support Takfiri and extremism movement?
They will go down with the enemies. Historically the United States and its decline, historically the people of the world are supporting the Palestinians today more than every deals .they know that the Zionist are breaking down homes and so the world is finding out about these Takfirist, they are not real Islamic and they do not support Islam.
America one day had Saddam Hussein after few years they got rid of Saddam Hussein, they had the Taliban, and they had Osame Bin Ladin. They all worked for the CIA.when the CIA finished with them, they kill them. Today they created ISIS and they go to war and rid of them. this is the way that CIA works.
