Nuclear Chief Affirms Iran’s Refusal to Be Directed by Others

ALWAGHT- Mohammad Eslami, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), emphasized that Iran is advancing based on its national interests and refuses to be directed by external forces.

Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, emphasized at a recent event in Tehran that Iran makes decisions based solely on its national interests and goals, rejecting any external influence. He highlighted that Iran’s identity and values are central to its path and national unity, underscoring the country’s independent approach to its policies.

Eslami praised Iran’s nuclear industry as a significant achievement, noting that despite sanctions and global obstacles, Iran has reached advanced levels comparable to developed countries. He stressed that Iran’s progress in nuclear technology is undeniable and that it continues to advance despite international challenges.

Reflecting this stance, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei reaffirmed that Iran will not seek permission from any country for uranium enrichment. He dismissed US objections as meaningless and emphasized Iran’s commitment to its policies. Meanwhile, indirect nuclear talks between Iran and the US, facilitated by Oman, have continued with the goal of reaching an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program and sanctions relief.
