ALWAGHT- Israeli forces carried out fresh attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday in clear violation of the ceasefire.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported heavy shelling and helicopter fire east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Israeli aircraft also carried out several raids east of Rafah, while artillery struck a house in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.
Since the ceasefire took effect on 10 October, Israeli forces have reportedly violated it nearly every day.
In the seven weeks following the truce, at least 354 Palestinians have been killed and 906 injured. The total death toll since October 2023 exceeded 70,000 on Saturday, with another 171,000 people wounded.
