ALWAGHT- Iranian commander: Any miscalculation against the Islamic Republic will come at a higher cost than the enemy anticipates.
Major General Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters, told lawmakers that the Iranian Armed Forces are focused on strengthening both defensive and offensive capabilities to address evolving threats and the demands of future warfare.
He warned that Iran continuously monitors adversaries and that any miscalculation or aggression would result in consequences far exceeding the gains the enemy seeks, citing the 12-day war launched by the Zionist regime and the US as a result of their miscalculations.
During the June 13–24 conflict, Iran retaliated with multiple missile strikes on Israeli and US targets, including the al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, causing significant damage before a ceasefire brought the confrontation to an end.
