ALWAGHT- A reliable source disclosed details about upcoming indirect talks between Iranian and US delegations, scheduled to take place in Oman in coming days.
In recent weeks, Iran and the US have engaged in two rounds of negotiations—held in Oman and Italy—aimed at securing an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions against Tehran.
According to an informed source, the next round of talks is scheduled for April 26 in Muscat, with discussions taking place at both expert and senior levels—though not concurrently. The source explained that technical teams will first conduct indirect negotiations on Saturday, after which their findings will be relayed to high-ranking officials.
The high-level talks, led by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, will then review the outcomes of the expert discussions. The source noted that the senior negotiators will focus on assessing progress and finalizing key points before moving forward.
