ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei has addressed Tehran's response to a letter from US President Donald Trump.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that Tehran will officially respond to US President Donald Trump's letter after a thorough review, dismissing media speculations as inaccurate.
During his final weekly press briefing of the Iranian year 1403, Baghaei refrained from revealing the letter's content but noted that it aligns with Trump's previously stated positions. He also clarified that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s visit to Oman was unrelated to the letter and focused on regional developments and meetings in Jeddah.
Baghaei emphasized that Iran’s response will be communicated through official channels once the review is complete. Meanwhile, President Masoud Pezeshkian criticized Trump's hardline stance, asserting that Iran is not Ukraine and will not negotiate under threats or coercion.
