IRGC Says It Struck US Military Facilities in Jordan, Amazon Hub in Bahrain

ALWAGHT- Iran launched a new wave of drone attacks targeting US military facilities in Jordan and Bahrain, as well as Amazon data center infrastructure.

The Iranian Army said it launched new drone attacks under the latest phases of Operation Saegheh, targeting US military facilities at Al-Azraq Base in Jordan, Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, and Doha Camp in Kuwait. The military said the strikes hit troop accommodation, equipment depots, aircraft maintenance facilities, and logistical infrastructure.

Separately, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it targeted the core infrastructure of Amazon's Bahrain-based me-south-1 data center during the 24th wave of Operation Nasr 2. The IRGC claimed the facility supports US military cloud computing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities under the Pentagon's Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) program.

Iran said the operations were carried out in retaliation for what it described as repeated US attacks on Iranian territory. Iranian officials maintained that the strikes were directed at US military assets rather than regional countries, while vowing to continue operations in response to further US actions.
