Ayatollah Khamenei Condemns US as Symbol of Colonialism

ALWAGHT- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, criticized the US government as the ultimate symbol of colonialism and arrogance, stating that it is controlled by powerful financial elites.

On the occasion of Eid al-Mab'ath, Iranian officials and ambassadors from Islamic countries met with Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran. He extended congratulations to the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah, emphasizing the historical significance of the Bi’tha, which he described as a transformative event in human history. He also noted its connection to the victory of the Islamic Revolution, which was inspired by the Prophet’s mission.

Ayatollah Khamenei criticized the US government as a leading force of global arrogance, controlled by financial elites seeking to manipulate nations for their interests. He cited examples of US hostility, including congressional support for war criminals and the honoring of military personnel responsible for atrocities against Iran. He warned that diplomatic appearances often conceal deep-seated enmities, urging vigilance in international relations.

The Leader highlighted the Prophet’s message that true honor belongs to God, protecting believers from foreign influence. He stressed that reason and faith were the two essential tools used by prophets to guide humanity. Monotheism, as the foundation of the Islamic worldview, remains central to societal development. He concluded that the lessons of the Mab’ath are timeless, offering continuous guidance for intellectual and practical transformation.
