Qalibaf Issues Retaliation Warning to US: ‘Strike Us, Get Struck’

ALWAGHT- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says any US attack on Iran’s oil and gas infrastructure would trigger retaliatory strikes against American energy interests throughout the region.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned the United States that any attack on Iranian oil and gas assets would prompt retaliation against US energy interests across the region. His remarks came in response to US War Secretary Pete Hegseth’s claim that Iran’s oil tanker fleet is vulnerable to American military strikes.

Ghalibaf said US energy infrastructure in the region is exposed and within Iran’s reach, stressing that Tehran has already demonstrated its ability to retaliate against hostile targets. He warned Washington that attacks on Iranian assets would result in corresponding strikes against American interests.

The warning came amid escalating tensions over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has said the waterway’s reopening depends on US compliance with a Pakistan-brokered agreement, after Washington allegedly took measures that Tehran viewed as violations of the deal and Iran subsequently declared the strategic waterway closed to traffic.
