ALWAGHT- The IRGC’s Hamzah Sayyid al-Shuhada Base in northwest Iran announced the seizure of a weapons and ammunition shipment belonging to terrorist separatist groups.
The IRGC’s Hamzah Sayyid al-Shuhada Base said its intelligence forces had seized a shipment of weapons and ammunition near the border of Oshnavieh County in West Azerbaijan Province.
According to the statement, the shipment included six AK-47 rifles, 28 magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. The IRGC alleged that separatist terrorist groups planned to move the weapons to central parts of the country for what it described as subversive activities, and warned that it would respond forcefully to further security threats.
