Leader: Media Plays a Greater Role than the Military in Shaping Conflict Outcomes

ALWAGHT- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, highlighted the unmatched influence of media in global conflicts and emphasized the need for innovation to enhance national media outlets.

In a message delivered Tuesday ahead of a media conference in Tehran, attended by the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization (IRIB) and its directors, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized the critical role of media in shaping outcomes amid global conflicts.

The Leader noted that effectively conveying a message and presenting the truth often outweigh military means in determining victory on the battlefield. “You are well aware of the unparalleled role of media and publicity in today’s global conflicts, more so than ever before,” he remarked, adding, “Victory today depends on the ability to present one’s message and narrative of reality.”

Ayatollah Khamenei urged greater precision and innovation in media efforts, stressing the importance of excelling in this vital domain. IRIB chief Peyman Jebelli affirmed the organization’s steadfast support for media affiliated with the Axis of Resistance, particularly under the current circumstances in Gaza.

Since October 2023, Israel has reportedly killed dozens of journalists in Gaza, with many others missing, detained, or injured, underscoring the perilous conditions for media professionals in the region.
