ALWAGHT- At least 15 people were reported dead, and others are still missing, after the Israeli military bombed a warehouse in the az-Zawayda area of central Gaza, which was reportedly sheltering displaced Palestinians.
Israel has ordered mass evacuations across northern and southern Gaza, including areas previously designated as "safe zones." Meanwhile, at least 15 people were reported killed in an overnight Israeli strike on displaced individuals in the az-Zawayda area of central Gaza, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA on Saturday.
Footage from Al Jazeera Arabic showed rescue teams recovering bodies from the rubble of a destroyed warehouse that had reportedly housed displaced Palestinians.
The Israeli military also bombed a house in Gaza City's Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, killing at least one person and injuring others, as reported by WAFA.
In southern Gaza, Israeli forces targeted a house near the European Hospital east of Khan Younis, injuring several people, though no fatalities have been reported so far, according to WAFA.
Israeli fighter jets carried out three raids around the southern entrance to az-Zawayda town in central Gaza, while residential buildings were destroyed in the Tal as-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah in the southern part of the enclave.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in at least 40,005 deaths and 92,401 injuries in Gaza, according to reports describing the situation as genocidal.
