ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi cautioned European and NATO officials against backing or enabling military actions targeting Gaza and Iran.
In a post on X, Araghchi discussed his meeting the previous night with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas and other European officials, saying he had directly warned them about what he described as the serious and lasting repercussions of supporting or facilitating alleged Israeli and US war crimes.
He also responded to remarks by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte concerning “Operation Epic Fury,” during which Rutte said Europe had served as a key platform for US military operations, hosting 5,000 American flights since February 28. Araghchi criticized NATO’s position, arguing that its leadership should recognize that accommodating a bully will never be enough.
