Alwaght- Iran's President Ebrahim Raeisi condemned the Israeli regime’s latest aggression against Gaza and hailed resistance of Palestinians in the besieged strip that "can accelerate the overthrow of the child-killing regime."
Raeisi made the remarks on Saturday a day after the deadly Israeli airstrike on a residential area in the besieged Gaza Strip. The strike resulted in the killing of twelve people, including Tayseer al-Jabari, a senior commander of the Islamic Jihad movement, and a five-year-old child.
“By committing last night’s crime, the Zionist regime once again showed its aggressive and occupying conduct to the world, but the resistance of people of Gaza would expedite the fall of this child-killing regime,” Raeisi noted.
The Iranian president also denounced the deadly terrorist attack in the Afghan capital Kabul and urged the caretaker Taliban government to identify the criminals and guarantee the Afghans' security.
At least eight people were killed and 18 others injured in the blast during a community mourning gathering in a Shia residential area in Kabul on Friday afternoon. The Daesh terrorist group has claimed the deadly attack.
‘Israel security deteriorating rapidly’
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force chief has said the Israeli regime’s security is sharply declining.
“Every day at least 15 operations are conducted against the occupying regime’s positions and that is why they installed barriers even inside the settlements to protect their lives,” Tasnim Quoted General Esmail Qa'ani as saying on Saturday.
He added that Palestinian warriors are making arrangements to strike the last blow to the “Zionist regime’s rotting body”.
The Islamic government backs the oppressed Palestinians as it did in the past and the US and Israel cannot break down their resistance, Qa'ani stated.
The IRGC Chief Commander Hossein Salami has also warned that, “more than 100 thousand missiles are ready to be launched from Lebanon to make a hellfire for the Zionists.”
The Tel Aviv regime is continuing its acts of aggression against the blockaded Palestinian coastal enclave. At least two Palestinians have been killed and several others injured when the Israeli military carried out fresh airstrikes against the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
In the first response to the Israeli attacks, the Islamic Jihad fired more than 100 rockets toward the occupied territories. The movement called the retaliatory barrage only an “initial response” to the Israeli bloodbath.
Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad, Ziyad al-Nakhalah said the Israeli enemy must expect a "non-stop" confrontation in the wake of the Friday aggression.
A round of sirens was heard across the occupied territories, especially in a number of communities located on the border with the Gaza Strip. Sirens sounded in the communities of Kissufim and Ein HaShlosha, and in the town of Sderot. There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
