Bomb, Shooting Attacks Kill Seven in Baghdad Injure Dozens

Alwaght- Iraq's capital, Baghdad, was rocked by bomb blasts and a shooting attack. At least seven people have lost their lives and more than two dozen others were injured on Tuesday.

A police source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said at least two civilians were killed and ten others injured when two improvised explosive devices went off close to a popular market in Baghdad’s southern district of al-Rashid, Arabic-language al-Baghdadia satellite television network reported.

Additionally, a civilian was killed and six others injured when a bomb detonated near a busy street in the Zafaraniyah district of southeastern Baghdad.

Unknown armed men also shot and killed a civilian in the same Baghdad district on Tuesday.

Elsewhere in the town of Taji, located 30 kilometers (20 miles) north of Baghdad, a bombing attack killed two civilians and left eight others injured.

Moreover, one civilian was killed and four others injured when a roadside bomb exploded in the town of Madain, situated about 20 kilometers (14 miles) southeast of the capital, killing one civilian and wounding four others.

The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq says a total of 714 Iraqis were killed and another 1,269 wounded in acts of terrorism, violence and armed conflict in October alone.

World has witnessed bloody crimes done by terrorists against humanity, first in Beirut killing 41, then in Paris killing 140 and finally in Baghdad.
