ALWAGHT- Yemen’s Armed Forces report six strikes on Saudi oil facilities, airports and military installations.
Yemen’s Armed Forces (YAF) announced six military operations against Saudi oil facilities, airports, air bases, radar installations, and a naval camp over 48 hours. Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the attacks involved ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.
The YAF reported strikes on Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu, the Shaybah oil field, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Abha International Airport, Khamis Mushait Air Base, and several military installations. It claimed the operations caused fires, destroyed a radar system, and disrupted air traffic at Abha airport.
The YAF said the operations were retaliation for Saudi attacks on Yemen, alleging that more than 200 airstrikes and missile attacks had targeted civilian areas, killing and injuring dozens. It added that the total number of Saudi attacks since the latest escalation had exceeded 2,700.
Yemen’s armed forces vowed to intensify operations against Saudi targets until the attacks stopped and the blockade was lifted. A Yemeni military source also warned that Saudi oil facilities and airports remained within missile range, urging investors in Saudi Aramco to withdraw their investments.
