Israeli Regime Forces Abduct Palestinians Women in Al Aqsa Mosque

Thursday 23 July 2015
Israeli Regime Forces Abduct Palestinians Women in Al Aqsa Mosque
Alwaght- Israeli regime forces early Wednesday morning abducted five peaceful Muslim worshipers, including three women, from inside the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Media sources at al-Aqsa Mosque said the Israeli regime forces kidnapped three Palestinian ladies on their way out of the al-Aqsa Mosque via the Silsila Gate, along with two young West Bankers.

The Muslim attending prayers at the Mosque managed to foil the attempts of the Israeli troops to kidnap more Muslim women from within the place of worship.

During recent days tensions have flared up after gangs of Jewish fanatics, escorted by Israeli regime army officers desecrated the Holy Mosque several times.
For his part, Director of al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani, slammed the Israeli regime for having stepped up desecration schemes against al-Aqsa Mosque and setting the stage for sacrilegious attacks by fanatic settlers.

He said efforts by the Endowment Department have been underway to thwart Israeli attempts to vandalize the Mosque.

He warned of the upsurge of Israel’s incitement against the holy site, calling on Arab states and Muslims worldwide to react without further delay and to take a tougher line against Israeli sacrilegious schemes before it is too late.

The Israeli regime is engaged in illegal attempts to change the demographic makeup of al-Quds over the past decades by constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites and expelling the local Palestinian population.

The al-Aqsa Mosque compound, located in the Israeli-occupied Old City of al-Quds, is a flashpoint Islamic site. The mosque is Islam’s third holiest site after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina.
