ALWAGHT- Israel escalates airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 30 people, with heavy attacks concentrated on Khan Younis and Rafah in the south.
Israel has intensified its bombardment of the Gaza Strip, killing over 30 Palestinians since midnight in a wave of attacks focused largely on the southern regions of Khan Younis and Rafah. Airstrikes and artillery shelling have struck densely populated civilian areas, destroying homes and infrastructure and causing mass casualties. In the north, Jabalia and Beit Lahia also faced deadly strikes, including a massacre in Jabalia where four homes were bombed, killing over 30 people, including children.
In Khan Younis, residential areas were heavily targeted, with multiple homes hit in Abasan al-Kabira, Ma’an, and al-Shahaida, resulting in more deaths and injuries. Israeli forces also struck areas around Hamad City and Qizan al-Najjar, while naval forces shelled al-Mawasi. A deadly strike on the al-Masry family home killed four and trapped others under rubble, reflecting the growing civilian toll and widespread destruction.
Further attacks were reported in central and northern Gaza, including Deir al-Balah and neighborhoods east of Gaza City such as al-Tuffah and Shuja'iyya, where entire buildings were leveled. In Beit Lahia, bombings and the use of a booby-trapped robot added to the chaos. As the offensive expands across Gaza, the humanitarian crisis deepens, with mounting casualties, devastated neighborhoods, and a growing sense of fear among the civilian population.
