ALWAGHT- The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a retaliatory strike on a key Israeli military site north of the Negev Desert, reaffirming their steadfast support for Palestinians suffering under Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that Yemeni missile units targeted Israel’s Nevatim Airbase with a domestically developed Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, successfully hitting the target as Israeli defense systems failed to intercept it. He emphasized Yemen’s ongoing commitment to resisting US aggression and supporting the Palestinian people.
Saree stressed that Yemeni operations against Israeli, American, and British interests will persist until Israel ends its attacks on Gaza and lifts the total blockade. He reaffirmed Yemen’s determination to strengthen its military capabilities and maintain pressure on aggressors.
In response to Israeli atrocities in Gaza and Western attacks on Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched strikes across the Red Sea and nearby regions. They have also enforced a maritime blockade to hinder military supplies to Israel and draw global attention to the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
