Alwaght- Reports have emerged that some Arab states that do not have open diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime have had a secret meeting with Israeli officials in Jordan.
Israeli regime media sources did not specify the nationalities of the Arab diplomats who are said to have been present at the meeting. During the purported meeting, the Arab representatives expressed their relevant states’ interest in cooperating with Israeli regime over “security” matters in the West Asia.
Over the past two decades pro-American Arab regimes including Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman have had contacts or ties with the Israeli regime, their public rationale being that integrating the usurper regime into the region and normalizing it will encourage moderation on the regime. Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority have formal agreements with the Israeli entity; the other states various official and unofficial ties. The Jordanian King Abdullah II appears intent on playing the role of an interlocutor between Arab regime and the Israeli regime hence holding of the secret rendezvous in his kingdom.
The unfolding events in the region especially Islamic Awakening by the masses and the expected Iran nuclear are two major factors which have created uncertainty within shaky Arab regimes.
It is quite apparent that these two factors present a major threat to some Arab regimes in the region.
Even before its inking, the Iran nuclear is shaking the entire Western Asia political landscape, with Saudi Arabia and Israeli regime standing as the major losers; and as such, are most likely to clutch their hands into an alliance against Iran, and by default, against the international community supporting the deal.
Indeed the central issue between the Saudi regime and the US on the one hand, and the US and Israeli regime on the other hand, is not the deal itself; it is the place Iran would have in the future West Asia. And, the very fact that the US appears unable curb Iran’s regional influence has caused Saudi Arabia and Tel Aviv great anxiety. Recently US President Obama referring to fears expressed by the Persian Gulf states over Iran noted that the biggest threats they face are “not from Iran” but from within. The recent poorly attended Camp David Summit between the US and Persian Gulf monarchies failed to calm their worries. The hawkish Zionist premier has also miserably failed to convince the Obama administration to halt the impending nuclear deal with Iran.
Over the recent months we have seen an increase in anti-Iran rhetoric in the region with the ring leaders being the Saudi and Israeli regimes. No doubt rulers of both countries are reading from the same script and share mutual revulsion towards Islamic Awakening and the Islamic Republic. It is quite apparent that an unholy alliance is emerging between the Israeli regime and client Arab regimes in the region.
It is crystal clear that Takfiri terrorism in the region is a direct result of the unholy alliance between distraught Arab regimes and the Israeli regime. These Takfiri groups are being used in a two pronged strategy of 'containing' Iran and at the same time distracting and diverting the Islamic Awakening witnessed over the last four years in the region. The Islamic awakening which led to the fall of several client Arab regimes, especially in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya jolted regional monarchies and dictatorships into action to prevent a domino effect. The emergence of dangerous Takfiri terrorism in the region can be seen within this perspective. Islamic Awakening was not only a threat to the Arab regimes, but also to the Israeli Regime which felt threatened by the coming to power of Islamic states which would naturally tilt towards Tehran and thus completely upset the geopolitical equation in the region including the boosting of the Palestinian resistance.
The Tel Aviv regime and Arab monarchies and dictatorships see their very existence threatened by a stronger Islamic Iran and an Islamic Awakening which naturally results in a united Muslim Umma (Nation). There is indeed an obvious convergence of interests between the various regimes and the Israeli regime. The secret meeting in Jordan can be viewed as an act of desperation which cannot stop the inevitable rise of Islamic Iran and will certainly lead to a backlash among Arab-Muslim masses in the region.
