Tehran to Welcome Petrochemical Industry Leaders from 15 Countries

ALWAGHT- The 15th International Forum on Iran’s Petrochemical Industry is set to take place in Tehran on August 4-5, 2024, featuring participants from the petrochemical sector across 15 countries.

The forum will feature foreign guests, high-ranking delegations, and commercial representatives from 15 countries, including Uzbekistan, China, Malaysia, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Bolivia, Serbia, Kenya, Tajikistan, Mexico, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, Italy, and Brazil.

Hossein Alimorad, head of International Affairs at the Iranian National Petrochemical Company (NPC), announced that industry leaders from Malaysia, China, and Venezuela will address the forum.

He also noted that a specialized discussion panel will focus on expanding cooperation with aligned countries and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.

The forum aims to showcase Iran’s petrochemical industry capabilities, including its diverse production of petrochemicals, catalyst manufacturing, and the advancement of technical and engineering service exports.
