ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is expected to visit New York in the coming days to take part in the annual United Nations General Assembly session.
Pezeshkian is expected to address the UN General Assembly, outlining Iran’s positions on international developments, including the US-Israeli war against Iran.
During his visit, the Iranian president is also expected to hold meetings with several world leaders on the sidelines of the UNGA, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation.
The 81st UNGA session, themed “Restoring Trust, Managing Transformation: A United Nations That Delivers for All,” will feature a high-level general debate from September 22–26 and September 28, alongside discussions on climate action, development, sea-level rise and pandemic preparedness.
